This conference is dedicated to the preservation of the Southern baseball history, and this year will focus on Nashville's Southern Association history, including storied Sulphur Dell Park.  Scheduled events include a Nashville baseball symposium on Saturday, April 12th, featuring individual authors and historians discussing their research and publications, as well as numerous former Nashville ballplayers, participating in a panel discussion.  The symposium will be held at the Nashville Metro Archives, with Saturday's activities beginning with a visit to the old Sulphur Dell ballpark site.

Conference participants will be able to purchase tickets to the Nashville Sounds opening night ball game, on Friday, April 11th. 

Tentative schedule of events:

April 11 - Opening Night 7:00 pm - Nashville Sounds

April 12 - Meet & Greet - 7:15 am - Sulphur Dell site

April 12 - Conference - 9:15 am to 2:15 pm - Nashville Metro Archives
