"The Best, the Biggest and Baddest Black Baseball Conference in America!"
Support our Scholarships, Library Grants and Grave Marker Projects:
The Malloy Conference, hosted by SABR's Negro Leagues Committee, promotes activities to enhance scholarly, educational, and literary objectives. Since 1998, the event has been the only academic symposium dedicated exclusively to the examination and promotion of black baseball history. The conference, the brainchild of Ted Knorr from Harrisburg, PA, is open to sport and history fans of all ages. Our first conference featured author Robert Peterson of "Only the Ball was White".
